About Lockdown

The idea for the Lockdown app came about during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the majority of the world began using the internet a lot more. During this time, scams saw a rise in frequency. Given that more of the older generation was utilising the internet, many more scams were successful in stealing money and information. Due to this rise in scam successes and online safety issues faced by the older generation, IT professionals have come together to develop the Lockdown app.
